Another chapter of my life has come to a close. After all the things that's been said and done, I truly appreciate the last five months working as a network engineer. It was my very first full-time job after school. It challenged me to be more technical and more "engineer-y", as called for by the degree I finished in college. However, I had to make a decision whether to go to the career path dictated by my engineering degree... or to go to a different path where I am truly passionate about.
Unfortunately for the company, I chose the latter.
But if I didn't make that decision right away, it would really be hard to change gears in the long run, as a piece of advice given by my supervisor. And this is the first time I need to make a difficult decision and then actually realizing it.
I will miss everyone I've worked with in the company, despite the organizational politics which I am never ever a fan of. I will miss the stock market, which I kind of understand now. And everything happens for a reason; that is soon, maybe, I'll be able to invest some of my savings on it - thanks to the company for introducing it to me.
I guess this is it.
Thank you, and see you around.
